Seattle Washington
Can anyone tell me what there is to do in Seattle; hopefully the fun stuff that doesn't cost a lot of money.

Husband and I are going there to celebrate our 32nd anniversary. Neither of us have ever been there, but our choices are limited with his reward air miles. We also got a good hotel deal with credit card reward points.

I'm very excited to go to Seattle, as we had planned on going to Hawaii on our 30th and it didn't happen. We haven't been able to go ANYWHERE for almost 3 years now because of my injuries, except on short beach trips in the RV. Tongue

RE: Seattle Washington
I use to live outside of Seattle.

I enjoyed a tour I took of underground Seattle. It involved climbing stairs, it was awesome!

Also the Space Needle is a "have to see" the top of the space needle is a observation deck & resturant . The needle was built for the world's fairs years ago.

When I visited the space needle years ago there where markets and amusement rides on the grounds of the attraction.

Then there is the Pudget Sound area and water front, fairy boats & islands.
If you like seafood there are many fresh seafood resturants in the area.

RE: Seattle Washington
Thank you everyone! Bummer, I tried to get Easter Brunch reservations in the restaurant on top of the space needle just now. They were booked, until I told them it was our anniversary and first trip to Seattle. We are in! It sounds so exciting, but I hope I don't get motion sickness up there! Ha!

Cycler, Booked a tour which includes Pikes Market 3 hours walking tour. They say you sit about every other stop to sample foods and drink, so it's not on your feet all the time. Thanks for the tip. I apppreciate your suggestion!

BBBB: I will have some fun looking over the site you sent. Thanks for sending it.

We want to work in as much as we can in 3 full days; and that includes some leisure time at the hotel! Tongue Tongue

RE: Seattle Washington
Downside of this trip is we'll be away from our entire family on Easter for the very first time. Our adult "kids" aren't very happy with us, but I think they will survive, and get over it. I think they are just sorry we aren't "hosting" Easter at our house, and they will have to come up with their own plans. We are leaving Easter baskets for the grandkids. Tongue LOL!!!!!

Have fun ChrisChris...I love Seattle. I was discharged from the Navy at Bangar which is just outside of Seattle. Try one of the Ferry's. They are fantastic. have fun. Del and I just celebrated our 35th anniversary. Red
