RE: hearing questions
Listen to Your Attorney, be Honest, and All will go as it Should! These Tapes Today have to Be Timed Stamped, and show the Duration of the Offense You are Supposed to have done, if they have Tape at All!! They May be Saying that to do Exactly what they are doing, Driving You Nuts, and it's Working!! I have been to13 Hearings, the 14th to Come in April, and My Attorney got the Impression a while ago that they had Tape on Me, and I told them it would be Pretty Da** Boring!! They never had One Piece of Film, or one Photo!! Best of Luck, You'll be Fine!!
Failed Back Surgery, Chronic Pain, Totally Disabled. Knowledge is Power, Especially in the World of w/c. Learn as Much as You can about Your States w/c Laws, and don't Fight Battles alone, They Use Attorney's, and so Should You!! |

RE: hearing questions
be honest if the Judge asks you do you carry him yes I do for short trips from the car to house and it hurts....Dont ever lie it will bite you in the (Jayne's lame attempt to bypass the Bad Word Filter) everytime and dont worry........worry is like rocking in a chair keeps you busy but doesnt get you anywhere
;)Workmans comp is not a road you want to travel alone. You need a good lawyer,a great family and good friends to lean on.If you make it thru without losing everything you have worked for all your life, you have come out ahead of the game.....

RE: hearing questions
I was told by my atty that if they had video they had to let him see it before it went into the courtroom. Is he wrong? Do they only need to tell him they have it and intend to use it?

RE: hearing questions
If you ask me, I think the reason for not dis-closing it is, the IC Attorney is going to use it as a form of Black-Mail to get the case closed and settled. Now, if there was an issue it would totally harm the case, they would just use it so one can't further their case anymore. It's something I have heard about many times before. Their hoping Blake needs the money, and will settle for maybe 1/2 or less the amount.

RE: hearing questions
The trick is "Don't do anything your not supposed to" and they can't pull that on you.I know for a fact that there is no video on me.

RE: hearing questions
actually the trick is to keep your doctor advised as to what are doing and not doing; the doctor is the "gate keeper".

RE: hearing questions
1171 that would be nice if true but it has been shown many times your Dr has little to no control over your care he can ask for certain tests but its a bean counter somewhere that oks it or not...And he can put you off work but the IC can send you to an IME Quack and get you back on duty......requardless of what your treating Dr says....That is why many Good Drs wont even accept WC patients anymore......
