Anyone heard that people on social security will be getting a 250 dollar check in May or June?That is our part of the stimulous Package.

according to the SS dept you will be getting an extra 250 in your may check...now I dont know if thats per person or per family
;)Workmans comp is not a road you want to travel alone.You need a good lawyer,a great family and good friends to lean on.If you make it thru without losing everything you have worked for all your life,you have come out ahead of the game.....

Yes my best friend mentioned that to me the other day also. She gets SSI . So whatever you heard must be true. Unemployment just also got a extra 25 dollars a week that started this week. So for me that is an extra 100 dollars a month which will help alot. I am sure in the end we will all be taxed somehow. Nothing is for free.

I called them on my medicare paperwork and it was a recording they played before the lady came on to answer my questions

God Love Our Government, they are Supposed to Send SSDI or SS Recipients an Extra $250.00 in May, as Part of the Stimulus Plan. All of the Bankers and Dishonest Executives that Helped put Our Country on it's Knees Financially get Millions, and the Average Person on SS will get $250.00! I am going to be Sure and Send a Thank You Card, because Our Government is Finally getting Their Priority Right and taking Care of the Older Retired Folks with on whose Backs this Country was Made, and the Disabled that Can't Work!! (If You haven't Noticed, that was Sarcasm)! If I am Financially Able, I am going to Donate My $250.00 to Our Local Senior Citizen Center, if the Government only thinks these Great People are Only worth $250.00, I think they are worth a whole He** of a lot More than that, My Little Bit won't go Far, but I'm Sure it will Help!!

I have known about this for a week, You can check out the Gov website. It is true and the checks will start to be mailed out May 1st.
Still, I'am a senior citizen, And all donations are appreciated here. Don't send me your check!!!!! Send CASH ROFL....... Life isn't about waiting for the storm to pass. It's about learning to dance in the rain. |
