Jayne, the Bad Part is, Chrysler and Fiat is not the Main Problem, Chrysler is Controlled by a European Country Company Right now, the Actual Name of Chrysler is Damlier (Spelling?) Chrysler!! That Happened a Few Years ago, and Everyone is Skipping Over that, We are Bailing Out a Foreign Corporation Operating Under an American Name!! Doesn't make Sense to Me, thay Tell Us what They want Us to Hear, and the Rest is kept Silent!!

Still, Daimler sold Chrysler two or three years ago. They are now owned by a private equity firm called Cerberus Capital. So essentially your tax dollars are not going to a foreign company. Instead they are protecting private investment money. (As a sideline, the new CEO that Cerberus hired for Chrysler is the same guy who drove Home Depot down the toilet - and got a $210 million dollar payout when he got FIRED.)

Another interesting note; mythically Cerberus is the three headed dog that guards the gates of hell.
