RE: Next step?
Ks if you are only out two weeks, you have a while to go. When I had my Discectomy/Laminectomy they told me if everything went well it would be six weeks minimum before PT. And the folks above are right, no settlement until you feel you have been treated Medically all the way, and I would also advise getting a w/c certified Attorney for the rest of your journey through this system. A lot can go wrong from this point on, and you should have the protection of Counsel. Best of Luck!!!Wink

Bad Boy

I have checked out what you mentioned on the web site and I agree with Ksgirl the web site is very poor.

This is also the web sites that encourges injuried workers not to get an attorney.

Smile RE: Next step?
KSgirl,

I have had several back surgeries. You are only 2 weeks post opt and let me explain what might be going on with your leg. My last surgery was March of this year. After my surgeries I always had the leg pain. What happens is prior to surgery the nerve becomes so inflamed and swollen that it takes some time for that nerve to calm back down and return to normal. I think you definately need alot more healing time. See what happens a bit more down the road....you have a ways to go yet. I pray your pain will get better. I have no leg pain any longer and hope that yours will be the same. Take it slow and take good care.

RE: Next step?
I had the same surgery four years ago and as soon as I had the surgery my leg pain was gone. The first time it was nine months and more leg pain before the surgery. This time was only three and a half months and not as much pain before surgery.
I guess I was just expecting the same results this time. I need to remember this is the second time I've went through this and even though I'm not much older, I am older, and so is my body.
Thanks everyone!
