A question for Bad Boy
Hi Bad Boy

This is a knee question.

I am 9 months post on the replacement and I have days where I still have excessive swelling to the point I can not wear my jeans or slacks. Have to wear capris, (dosen't work to well in cold weather)

Is this normal for 9 months after surgery?

Don't know if this has anything to do with it but yesterday was a HIGH pain day for the nerve pain, still some today.

Yesterday the ortho told me (other knee) we are going to oil your knee. Have you heard of this before?

Bummer Knees

Bummer, I don't know the answer to that. You were at the Ortho, did you ask them?

Oil the knee. Yes, their going to inject something in there. I had that done also before my knee replacement. Only thing is, what solution their going to use is all.

No I didn't ask them. They said we are not here to talk about the knee replacement.

They had a full plate to deal with when it came to my injuries.

I foundout the IME doctor did not have the latest MRI written report. Good thing I had my copy with me. Doctor said something like, how am I to do this without the medical information.

RE: A question for Bad Boy
I do remember cool or cold pools helpping my knee also, if that helps you any.

Also the fact that you have to get ROM out of it.

Your never going to get rid of the at times soreness, yet it's not really pain like we had before. it's muscle and tendon, not the joint anymore.

Ride your bike, take your meds.
