We are now under a winter storm warning, the news say we will get a foot of snow. |

We've had freezing rain this morning. Went to the store and take some food to injured nurse this morning. (She is out of money and waitting on her settement check) My van hit a slick spot and I almost put it in the ditch. Came back home and told hubby he was taking me to town today.

I've been watching it and the Jet Stream, seems it is getting pushed further South each tim I see it.

I was just notified the schools are closing early due to the ice on the roads.
My daughter, a high school senior drives to school and will be driving her GMC pickup with 4 wheel drive home. The major highway from our home and her school is closed due to a large number of accidents on the highway. I told her to take the dirt roads home, they should be safer. Hubby is on his way into town to pickup our son, again he will be taking the dirt roads due to the main highway being closed. |
