RE: Lab Rat Experiment, test your skills LOL
The Lab Rat 1,due to the High Levels of Electrolytes and Protein, would Actually Pull Apart from the Magnetic Field Produced by the MRI!! The Excess Water, Coupled with the High Electrolytes and Protein, would Make the Rat Act as if Metalized, and would Basically Explode!! Hows That One???
P.S.- I did do only a One Word Search for Electrolyte, I didn't Use a Phrase when I came up with that Definition, if it was a Wrong Definition, Maybe I searched it Incorrectly, but I thought it was Right?

RE: Lab Rat Experiment, test your skills LOL
Well, I don't know if the Lab Rat would explode, but I am very sure it could explode.
Microwave is the keyword to answer Experiment #2. The molocules inside the Lab Rat will vibrate so violantly it becomes a self contained microwave. The Lab Rat turns it's insides into a internal Microwave when placed in the MRI. If contrast was used, it will help to accelerate the microwave function. I'm sure as if depending on how long the MRI ran, that Rat splater all over the inside of the machine. People on these diet and drinks, do need to know, a Cat Scan is better and a Blood test should be run before a MRI takes place. In humans, this can happen also. If the doctor doesn't figure it out with in a day or two after the MRI, the person could die. The fix, is to Hydrate the person, or the Lab Rat with IV's for a few days in the hospital, and continue at home. Stop the diet, and power drinks, and eat, drink normal. The affects will reverse after about 10 days or so. Reply's are intended solely for informational purposes. RE: Lab Rat Experiment, test your skills LOL
Where did you come up with this theory ? LOL !!!!!
MR heating is called Rf and is strongest at the surface of a tissue not the center as in MW. BTW....MRI is 100 % safe in pregnancy - talk about a bag of electrolyte fluid....... Bad Boy Bad Boy Wrote:Well, I don't know if the Lab Rat would explode, but I am very sure it could explode. |

RE: Lab Rat Experiment, test your skills LOL
Cycler, I had seen this theory on a Medical program. They did fully explain all that takes place step by step, all the up to, and through the MRI process. In fact, it was a true story. Where the family wanted their son to be the best in sports. They thought, the diet, and power drinks would help him. One day the boy had an accident. Taken to the hospital, the mother kept demanding an MRI. The doctor wanted to perform other test first, including a blood test. Yet, the mother would not agree, and kept demanding an MRI. Well, the doctor agreed beyond his wishes, and performed the MRI with contrast. The boy almost died, till the doctor figured it out.

RE: Lab Rat Experiment, test your skills LOL
Born, I'm sure they do.
Something about the diet, the power drinks, and electrolyte, break down into other materal in the system, cause a reaction. The MRI is the source of the action. I don't remember the rest. But I did remember the important parts. I do know, an MRI spins an atoms in the body. The diet change does something that causes others not to spin but to vibrate, causing a high heat factor.
