Well about 2006 I had a claim for carpal tunnel. I had surgery in 02/08 and settled in 6/08. I started a new job and was injured in 12/08 I hurt my back this time. So I get a ncv in 02/09 and they tell me I still have carpal tunnel and they would be amending the claim. I have no idea what that means.
I do have more pain on my right side which is the side they operated on. Can anyone give me any advice on how exactly this works. Because my new doctor is requesting my old medical records and he says that the release surgery did not take. Do I have any action for my carpal tunnel since is settled? Thanks in advance I know I'm long winded Im in CA

RE: hurt again? what to do?
whether it's a new injury or an old one depends on medical opinion. I suspect once the doctor has the old records they'll make a decision.
whether there are any benefits availble from the prior claim depends on how it was closed. some are cashed out with final buyouts others have open medical. it depends on what you did. |
