From every thing I See BX4, We May not know it Yet, but China is getting Quite a Foothold on the U.S., including Our Infrastructure as Far as These Many Home Repossessions,(Many Banks Borrowed Money from China to do these Sub-Prime Loans) and also Our Banking Industry! Our Stimulus Package is going to be Paid by Our Children and Grandchildren, but what a lot of People don't Know is the Money We Receive for this Stimulus to take Effect is coming from China!!! Get a Good Foothold on a Countries Housing and Money, and You are Only a Step Away from Taking the Golden Ring!! That's why they did what they did in the China Sea Last Week, They Flexed Their Military Muscle on Our Intelligence Ship, Clearly in Open and International Waters to See what We would do in Response! They got Their Answer, and got Away with it with a Small Slap on the Hand!! Reagan would Have Sent the Nimitz, and Docked it in Their Largest Port!!! If We don't Stay Cautious, Careful, and Well Prepared, We May just get Caught with Our Pants Down!!!

Still I am aware of that with China also. I am also aware of what took place in this country when a depression took place, or a high profile Recession also. And it was always War.

It's a Shame, but You are Totally Correct. Afghanistan is the Hot Spot, along with North Korea and Iran, it's just a Matter of Who Moves First, and When. If that is the Case it's Good to have China on Our Side, if they don't Decide to Call in Their Markers as they did Once before, and that was a Very big Step that Caused the Housing Crisis!! Today though, a War Won't bring Us Out of the Recession, We don't Fight as Much Hand to Hand Anymore, it's All Technology. If I could I would Tell You Some Great Stories of what My Brother-in-Law did while on the Nimitz, 300 Miles Out at Sea, and Hitting Targets as Small as down a Smoke Stack! Remember them Showing that During the First Gulf War? He was Given a Medal for being One of the Tech.'s that Designed that Technology! This is going to be a Tough Time, and I don't want to See Anymore War, Enough Men, Women and Children in this World have been Killed during Combat, and as I Mentioned, We won't be needing Tanks and Jeeps or Hummers, if it's a World War, The Nuclear Factor and Technology will be the Infantry Men!

I still think that big company CEO's need to be in our poor shoes for a while. We low on the food chain work our behinds off every day and week to make there companys profitable for them. Only so they can close our stores so they can continue to get there big salaries and bounuses. The CEO's of the company I work for gets over million dollar salarys and then stock options and up to 3 million dollar bonuses. No wonder the company can not make it and they have to close the store I work in and me and my hourly employees are all headed to the Unemployment line. So Sad. I have been in Retail Mgnt for 35 years now and this is how it ends for me. What do I have to show for it. 225.00 worth of counterfit money hanging in my office that I will bring home and frame. Just to show what I got out of it all.
I have watched the 4 companys that I have worked for in life do this to the low man on the food chain. When things get rough who is the first to go the low man on the food chain doing the work so they can continue to get paid. I still think AIG executives should all loose there jobs and see what what us poor struggleing men have to do to survive. That goes for all the bank executives and the auto industry to.

I was Working in the Auto Industry in Sales management in the Early 80's when Chrysler went to the Government and Asked for the Very First Bail Out Ever by a Privately Owned Corporation. Mr. Iaccoca Promised to Pay All Monies Back in 5 Years, and I have the Medallion that Shows He Paid it Off, Interest and All 2 Years Early. Mr Iaccoca During that Time Took NO SALARY, only Stock, His Contention was if He Turned the Corporation, the Stock Increase would Be More than He would have ever Made with a Salary. When He took Over Chrysler, Stock was $3.00 a Share, and when He Retired, it was at $55.00 and had Split!! He Made His Own Paycheck, I wonder if Anyone Else in the Corporate Sector in these United States would take that Chance Today?? What's been Lost in the Corporate World Today is Accountability for Ones Own Actions, and Punishment for those Who Cheat the Middle Class, or the Average Worker! I Agree Cervical, I watched Mr. Iaccoca in His Prime, and there isn't a Corporate Head in the Entire Auto Industry Today who could even Polish His Shoes!!

well spoken MR.STILL and you wont see that happen im sure.it takes b@lls to do that and he did it and made out and that's because he was smart and was not out to screw the company.there are a lot of ways to make money,but you have to do it the smart way and some times it hurts others,even though we think badly of them for what they do,like cut jobs or lay off.some times it has to be done to survive.

I am sorry that you will be falling victim to AIG. If we look at it the right way, every American is falling victim to this company as we the tax payers are bailing them out for their own stupidity and poor decisions.

I thought when a person gets a bonus that bonus was based on your performance. Evidentely these big dogs performance was poor so why do they get these big bonuses.

You are very correct when you say they should pay more attention to the real working people, the little people on the totem pole. You are right, we work our a$$e$ and get nothing from being employed by a huge company. I know what you mean I worked for one of those but a medical giant instead.
