A question and a update.
Lets start with update, Nov I had a fce done and have been back to work since dec. 2 weeks later had check up with Dr I complained about pain (Lower back) He had me try Mobic. And he put me at MMI for 3 injuries Ankle, shoulder, back. And gave those ratings, (which were low I think).
Another 2 weeks go by now back pain worse and numbness down left leg. Mobic not helping just feel sicky puts me on xelebrex (prob spelled wrong) Seemed to be working. Had appointment with surgeon (check up & abdomin pain), Thinks scar tissue has attatched to intestine, see specialist April 2nd. He says no end of healing for other injured parts until another year.(NCM was really P-ss-d off) I got a kick out of it. About 9 days ago had to see my trating DR again because pain is really getting bad Numbness, tinglly through to the foot now. He orders up 2 weeks of pt, no exrays or mri's unless not better. Well pt says after a few test dont think it's a disk but feels it's a pinched nerve by the Piriformis muscle, by the hip. Sends me home with a few excersises and stetches. Next appointment 1 excersise is killing my back so he has me stop. He did some preasure massages and Now tends to think it's a Disk. Knowing he knows pools take the pain away he puts me in this Harness Looks like a parachut harness and hooks me up to a hoist. He says 10 min and Im done for the day. God it felt great-----------So I thought, about 5 hours later my back and leg is hurting worse then ever. And my un injured right side is hurting. I think he is making me worse, and I have to work 7 days a week and do this PT. I dont think I can do both and keep my insanity of feeling pain. ------Now that I bored you with this long story. Question / Advice / I as every one on here want to work but should I ask DR for some time off while on therapy, (to make it legal with WC). Or I have the power to hire someone to do my daily route to deliver products, The catch is it would come out of my pocket if I do, but would look better legally if DR did? It's not the money its my future job status. What would others do in my case, my contract is up in 2 weeks with this company and dont want to screw up and not get another. ...........................BRONCO.......................... |

;)Workmans comp is not a road you want to travel alone. You need a good lawyer,a great family and good friends to lean on.If you make it thru without losing everything you have worked for all your life, you have come out ahead of the game.....
