back to work before he's ready
Well my son finally sen a lawyer today because he's still in pain from his early Nov. fall on his back. He fell 12 from a 2nd floor while doing construction. The wc Dr. sent him back to work end of Dec. but all he could do was a few hrs a day because he hurt so bad. Now the pain is down his right arm into his hand and his fingers are numb.
The lawyer wants him to see a nuerologist in Jonesboro, Ar. about 126 miles from where he lives. He said wc will pay all his expenses to go there. So things may be looking up, but in the meantime he can't work and no wc to help. ls trying to make ends meet on 200 a wk unemployment. The lawyer said my son's wc Dr. should have never sent him back to work so soon. |

RE: back to work before he's ready
Is Your Son Contacting His Attorney whenever He gets Info. such as the Return to Work by the w/c Dr.? If so the Attorney should have taken Steps to get Him a Second Opinion before He Returned, just to be Sure He was in Good Enough Condition to do so! And is the Attorney Scheduling any Hearings to have His w/c Status Changed? Just a Couple of Thoughts I had, Your Son has to be Very Careful with His Health, and Returning to Work too Quickly is doing Him No Good!

RE: back to work before he's ready
Limbo is asking you some valid questions and trust him because he is knowledgeable. one question I have to ask you is tthis because you have no mention of this subject. Did they do any type of diagnostic testing on your son to determine if they had any visible problems going on from the fall. I can almost guarentee you that if your son is having problems such as numbness and pain down his arm into his hands he has some spinal issues. He also needs to speak to his attorney about this especially since they had released him to return to work and especially if no type of diagnostic testing were done. I agree, your WC doctor should have never returned your son to work as soon as he did with no testing to see if there could be spinal issues going on. I wish you the best of luck.
