Update and question
Hello every one, thought I would update but with questions. Most of you's that have seen my post know I was in a bad accident multi injuries. Had check up with surgeon & infections dr " for the mersa I got in blood steam while hospitalized", last week says everything is looking good. NCM said he was going to put me at mmi, he said not happening see you in a year. Since my last visit in Marshfield they made new rules no ncm allowed. She was very upset, lol....

Any ways the question is, Surgeon says I will need a hip replacement but not yet, I still have cartlidge in the socket.
Does this regrow?

Ncm want me at mmi even knowing my issues with my hip? Reasons pro & cons?

Also I had a reaction to the heprin in hospital which I actually died but revived, So many lawyers out there want to represent people but who do I go with? Some want 40% of settlements.

Any info please just looking from other points of interest. Thanks.............................BRONCO.

RE: Update and question
NCM upset....poor lady to bad so sad......Be prepared for her to make you another appt with a Doc that WILL let her in and WILL put you at MMI.....Have you tried for SSDI yet sorry I cant keep everyone straight.....Your NCM will most likely get a IME doc appt or an FCE to get you put at MMI....as far as the hip replacement.....If it is like knees they try not to do it until they have to as they will wear out and have to be replaced every so often....but that is a quess on my part.....A lawyer that works only WC cases is the best deal for WC is yours a 3rd party?if so try and get a lawyer in a firm that handles both WC and civil or if you are lucky one lawyer to do both....My lawyer got a third of mine and he was worth every penny.....

;)Workmans comp is not a road you want to travel alone. You need a good lawyer,a great family and good friends to lean on.If you make it thru without losing everything you have worked for all your life, you have come out ahead of the game.....Smile

RE: Update and question
Bronco, What was your reaction to Heparin? I also had a reaction to it, I only spiked a fever that would not quit. Now whenever I see a Dr or go to hospital and tell them I am allergic to Heparin they look at me like I am green and say "thats wierd, never heard of that before".Good luck with the hip and lawyer search.

RE: Update and question
You see my last appointment with my phisatrist "hope I spelled it right" was supposed to be a checkup. But it was to my suprise he started running off percents to my ncm. And I asked if he was putting me at end of healing he said yes. So I said what for, my surgeon stated that he wouldnt untill after 2 years. The ncm & DR must be having private sessions because the looks on both thier faces were the same. And said they were not aware of that. Sounded a little fishy.

But as to a 3rd party lawsuite my WC lawyer said as far as the heparin I didnt have a case cause I was not dead. LOL he didnt even look at my medical records to determine that. Thats why I have other firms wanting me to sign up with them. I just dont know what to do.

My reaction to heparin was fever also caused me to bleed internaly. My heart stopped and they had to put a chest tube in and drained several litres of blood from behind my bladder, While waiting for surgery I can remember the nurses tring to stop the bleeding from all my wounds. They say Thinned out my blood too much, reasons for having was the clots I got from being hospitalized 2 long.
