Reimburstment
Most know , I am from WI.. I work 7 days a week and have to take a day off to see surgeon. My ncm knows I cant make it and also says to take day off, I have tried to set appointmen after work but impossible to do when DR leaves at 2 and just is not enough time to drive down state to make it. --Now my question is will I get reimbursted for lost wages and do I turn this in with my mileage. Thanks in advance....................Bronco.

RE: Reimburstment
I dont believe you will......
;)Workmans comp is not a road you want to travel alone. You need a good lawyer,a great family and good friends to lean on.If you make it thru without losing everything you have worked for all your life, you have come out ahead of the game.....

RE: Reimburstment
no.
wages come form employers; disability comes from comp carrier. they are not the same. it's up to your employer as to whether they are going to pay you wages for treatment time away from the job; disability is when the injury restricts your ability to functionally perform your job; time off work is covered by employer leave programs. they are different. employer leave programs and not regulated by workers comp. |

RE: Reimburstment
Thanks,, I just didnt know, cause It was the work injury that has caused me to see this dr, if I wouldnt have been hurt I wouldnt have to see him. This is a odd situation with WC anyways even though I file a 1099 self employment I was still covered because I was delivering thier products. Even my adjuster is learning on this one since she has never had to deal with my situation, but then again maybe she is a newby. But anyways I'm not asking employer for reimburstment trying to stay on thier good side. Any ways it has been since Dec 23rd time for a day off it will be worth not having the pay for that day........................Thanks Again.-----------------Bronco.
