IME, Is this legal?
I have an IME scheduled for next month.

This IME is a part of a judge's order and the court order says I am to see doctor XYZ.

I received paper work from this doctor's office and it says the IME will be with Dr. XYZ or Dr. ZZZ, (another doctor in the office)

My primary doctor says this doctor is well known for wc patients seeing the PA or other doctor in the office for IME appointments.

Is it legal for my IME to be done by Dr. ZZZ or the PA in the office when the court order says the IME is to be done my Dr. XYZ?

RE: IME, Is this legal?
I called the doctor's office that is named in the court order.

The doctor the judge is sending me to dosen't do IME's.
All IME's in this office are done by the PA.

I can't help but be mad over this, I have real issues with my back and I want a orthopedic licensed doctor to do the IME.

RE: IME, Is this legal?
I Agree Bummer, and You should be in Contact with Your Attorney over this!! If this PA is so Good, They would be a Dr., and Have a PA of Their Own!! I Surely wouldn't want a PA doing a IME for Me, a Dr. Certified in Your Type of Injury should be doing the Test!! Please let Us know what You Find Out Please!!Wink
