RE: Impairment rating
Starelaine, you must have my adjuster and ime!!!!! I am in the same shoes you are. i have been off work since 2007 with an injury that reactivated the rsd. last year i went into a coma due to septic cellulitus (i have ulcers from the rsd and they believe that is where the infection that caused the cellulitus entered)(FEB) i saw their ime in may--he stated the cellulitus was not related to the rsd--the rsd was not related to the work injury(even though from day one that is why i was off--no other reason) he said that as june 11 2007 (a month prior) that all my work related injuries had healed. my benefits ended immediately and their atty told mine that they were going to request a reimbursment from feb-may. needles to say we are talking thousands as i spent alot of feb in icu. my atty has to prove that rsd was a result of the injury(medical documentation states while hospitalized i was also being treated for rsd) my atty has done depositions of 4 of my md's who all say the rsd was a result of the w/c injury--their ime says i have rsd but cannot say it was a result of the injury. this month i have a hearing--if i win i will get all my back pay and they will be required to pay all medical bills--if i lose they can request the money back but it would not happen until the case is settled--and then it would be deducted from my settlement amount--so don't worry about it now--you still have a long road ahead.(by the way their doc even said i could not do any kind of work at all)
keep your head up----it's all games and scare tactics---they can throw the dice but in the end we roll doubles and collect at free parking!!!!!!!!!

cheers!!!!!!!!!

fireball!!!!!!!!!!!!
