RE: herni disk
oh wow we need lots more info...start with your state date of injury and what has been done so far none of us are docs and ratings can vary from doc to doc have you spoke to a lawyer to try and get another doc?
;)Workmans comp is not a road you want to travel alone. You need a good lawyer,a great family and good friends to lean on.If you make it thru without losing everything you have worked for all your life, you have come out ahead of the game.....

RE: herni disk
No one can tell you what is a good or bad rating. EVERYONE is different, hence; we heal differently and ijuries affect us differently.
Some herniated disks can be healed with PT and some can not. I am not familure with your state laws, but you may want to see if you can get a second oppinion. I THINK, you will be able to. I can not believe there is a state that will not allow an injured worker to get a second oppinion. I hope that helps, Take Care 8-05, Micro laminectomy/disectomy. 10-05 lumbar fusion L5-S1. 2-07 exploritory surgery. 12-07 medical implant, Spinal Cord Stimulator. now receiving SSDI. Jesus died for our sins. Soilders died for our freedom. |

RE: herni disk
I am with AQA on this one. You should get a second opinion if you still hurt. There is other treatments for you and maybe there is something more than a herniated disc.
PS. Curious how this is a wc injury lifting dog food. Do you work for a vet? What type of work do you do that you had to lift a 50lb bag? carpal tunnel recurrence/ neuropathy / RSD. 1/29/07 injury date. Permanent. PIR settlement 8/4/08 10% |
