I get in & out of my truck at least 25 times every day, so I am very happy with the warmer temps. So sorry Jayne--- god may have shifted you that bad weather so us N O R T H E R N E R S could have bare roads again for a few days. HA HA HA----------------.......................LOL.

RE: OK ALL YOU NORTHERNERS
To all of your weathering this nasty freezing weather, I am thankful to see that you are doing ok. I heard of the news last night but can't remember where this wasthat people are without lights and may not have power back until later in Feb. as a result of ice. Cleco, our electrical company here are sending help to those areas. God, this is horrible I just can't imagine people having to live this way from freezing weather. May God bless all of them.

Jayne,
I was talking to my sweetie about the bad weather you were having and he asked where your were from, so I told him. He told me he heard somewhere on the news that they had closed down Oklahoma. Is this true or did this recently happen? Wow, Having to resort to shut down an entire state almost unimaginable but not impossible.

RE: OK ALL YOU NORTHERNERS
many schools and bussinesses were closed for a few days here...other parts of our state were hit very hard we were lucky and only got the edge of it....many places in arkansas will be without power for weeks.....if the cold weather would have come in a day earlier we would have been sunk......as it was the ground was very warm so our roads didnt freeze as fast as they thought down in my part...our road crews were out putting gravel down before the roads got bad and then we dodged the ice bullet for about 12 hours longer than they thought it gave the rain enough time to fall here before it started turning to freezing rain.....not so the upper part of the state and upper arkansas....we here were very lucky
