PPD benefits
I recieved a letter today from IC saying some of my ratings are in and they are payable once a month for $1135. Untill paid in full.
It also says it is possible this amount is not representative of the "final" rating. They await a report from my surgeon for ppd on the pelvic area. What I ask is this a normal procedure for them to start paying me allready before they have all the ppd ratings. My lawyer asked for me to run it by him and he said it was what they are supposed to do. I guess I dont trust and maybe to worried. What do you's think? ...Bronco ALSO WHERE DOES MY MEDICAL COME INTO PLAY. |

RE: PPD benefits
paying in advance is also done in other states.
many court systems require immediate payment of undisputed portions of benefits owed. |

RE: PPD benefits
Thanks 1171, I recieved one of the monthly checks today. Now if I was to cash this does that bind me into any agreement. Lets say my surgeon gives a higher rating then my last rating. Or am I jumping the gun on this as it is too soon. I just dont want to cash this and find out later that I could have got more and since I signed it, it is to late.
I tried to ask lawyer today but he is not in and dont know when he will be back.. It's Friday I probably wont hear from him until Mon--Tues.. .................Lawyer just called and said to cash it cause it is not set in stone.................... |
