E-Mail question
Can anyone help me out here? For the past 3 weeks I have been receiving E-Mail which is obscene. The strange part it is coming from me!!!!! or at least from my E mail address. How is this possable?. I know for a fact that I am not sending it to myself.

Tuffy- cal yhe company you get your internet from and tell them about it. You will have to change your pa word and that will help top it. But you need to report it or you could be kicked off the internet.

I get mail from myself all day long. They of course are not coming from you, and are not originating in your email account. Essentially the spammers program the emails to display the recipient as the sender in what is called "cloaking". You could probably program any spam filter you have ot ban mail from your own address - as long as you never send yourself mail of course.....

Thanks folks, It is just strange as I have never had that happen before. I guess I will just delete, as I do sometimes send e-mails to myself. Now you all know I am wierd LOL.

Not wierd Tuffy, just living life. Thats all.

sorry tuffy jayne and i will stop just joking also look out a nasty storm is coming ur way were looking at 6-10 inchs of snow my plows on and ready to go.
