You are a Great Part of this Forum, and don't Hold Back, the only way We can Learn is by Others that know what the Rules and Regs. are. When I was dealing with my daughter's many diagnosis a doctor recomended a book to me, "When Bad THings Happen To Good People" I don't remember who wrote the book.

At the time I had so many things happening in my life and this book helped me cope with what was going on.

I can get the name of the author if you are interested.

I know you are very passionate about animals. I hope that you take the advice about taking your dog to an animal hospital and worry about paying the bill over time. I also agree that you may try and call the ASPCA and see what they may recommend. Do you have any idea what is wrong with her, and what made her throat swell up?? If you want to talk or vent, you have my number. I wish you and you little dog the best outcome. Please keep us informed.

Monster, I was just wondering how your baby is doing? Were you able to get the help for her that she needs?

When I lost my little boy oh how I hated God. I could not imagine in my lifetime what I had done to deserve such pain, such cruelty. How could a "loving" God allow something so horrible to happen when I loved him so much? That was in 1985 and the pain is still oh so real today - tomorrow it will have been 24 years. I don't blame God anymore. I only have to remember what he sacrificed for us by allowing Jesus to be crucified. Can you imagine the love he must have for us to allow his son to go through that? Satan is evil and works very hard every minute of every day to try and take our love away from God.

Kate, I also agree with the others. There is more to an injury than the physical aspects and I believe that this "off topic" site, offers what the other is missing. I think you do an excellent job of helping people wiht what they need first...information about w/c, how to get the medical care, medications, pay etc. You help them work through it all, and without you many would feel lost I have no doubt...please come to the off topic forum more often. You are more than welcome. We are all friends and always believe that the more friends we have the richer we are. Please be apart of it.

backache..I have been talking to monster..she is grieving but she is strong and will survive this as well...this pup was greatly loved by her and it was so sudden, I think she is in a little shock over the whole thing... she knows we are here, and she is reading, so just keep letting her know she is thought about, supported, respected, and loved and all will be ok in time.

I'm still pretty damned upset just not sure at who. I had to put my beloved furbaby down Monday afternoon. She was just a little over 2 years old. I would be dealing with this alot better if she had of lived to a nice old age but for some reason that didn't happen. I can't believe how incredibly much I miss her and keep expecting her to come around the corner prancing the way she always did with tail wagging and doogie smile so she could give me kisses

Your job title does not define the person whom you are, your actions do and from what I can see you are a very sweet and caring person! I would have been honored to have you as my adjuster and now my friend.
