;)Workmans comp is not a road you want to travel alone. You need a good lawyer,a great family and good friends to lean on.If you make it thru without losing everything you have worked for all your life, you have come out ahead of the game.....

RE: Help with Elk
Thanks for the encouragement on the stop smoking .....It is sort of hard without The Daver here because when he is around I don't smoke much. I mean who wants to get heck everytime they go outside for a cig? I know he is worried about my health and with all of you helping I think I can do it. .....Thanks for the advice on the pic Red I'll work on all of the things you said. Thanks to anyone else who has advice also. Sorry but this pic is going to my brother in law. When we were in FL. we stayed at his house and I promised I would paint an elk for him.
Hurt I can't wait until he gets the pork, we have venison to make sausage with it. They are also going to get a buffalo which they are going to split the meat on. Dave's brother has always wanted to shoot a buffalo so they are going to let him get it. I think if we have another Bingo game anyone that can make something for a prize should. Not that I don't love Reds beautiful prizes, but I know how hard it is to paint everything and the expense of sending the items is very high. So we can have different people make things to help her out, it would be so much fun..... GOD BLESS OUR COUNTRY AND OUR PRESIDENT! |

RE: Help with Elk
Hi all....I have been giving some thought to another BINGO game for awhile now, but the expense is just too great for me at this time. While some can pay shipping etc, others cannot so I never wanted a game that some are left out. There is my delimma. Shipping is costly, but even the cost of painting an oil painting is close to around $25.00 or more...and then the frames...etc etc etc. I am so sorry that I can't do that anymore....However, a group of us may be able to do it differently. I just have to give it some more thought and then I will bring it up for who is interested. Love Red

RE: Help with Elk
Backache,
I thought your picture was very good. I would have loved to have it, but understand that you made it for your brother. I too was thinking that maybe some rays of sunlight or a light fluffy cloud would enchance the elk's beauty, or just leave it as is since it looks very good. You and Red both are very talented, I agree with you that Red could do an animal with all of her talent and patience. I need more paintings for my new place, so any ones that either of you don't think are up to your standards I would gladly take and pay for the postage, lol. Love Vickie |

RE: Help with Elk
I agree Red is extremely talented. I just like doing animals since I have never been without an animal since I got my first dog WooWoo when I was 6 months old. I have had cats, dogs, goats, pigs, frogs, fish, birds, horses and just about anything else that walks or breaths in my life. That is the reason I feel rather confident in doing animals since I will mess with them until I get them where I want. I wish I would have put clouds in, but I don't know if it would be too much now or not. I can always try. I'm still working on the elk and probably will for weeks until I get it the way I want.
