What do you think
What do you think, Made drs appointment for some pains I am having, from returning to work. Anyways I go in Wed. But NCM called and I told her about the problems. She says she cant make that appointment but will recap with me later on how it goes. Any ways she asked me a question that shouldnt concern her. Wanted to know what time I start work and finnish. All this information was given to WC when injury happened. What do you's think she is up to?

RE: What do you think
...or maybe when might be the best time to call you back; i.e before or after your work hours, as common courtesy.

RE: What do you think
Cycler..........I'm hoping your correct...
Jayne..........I had "still have" a sister like that, kicked her butt when I was 3 or 4 not afraid to kick ncm butt too. No just kidding------ kind of. But will be on the look out. She has been true to her words so far........................? But I know, they are like wild animals sometimes and turn on you when you are least expected. Has not been the case with me but I am watching for the signs. Thanks Bronco |

RE: What do you think
well its like this the ncm doesnt have to be there or in the room with you,so do not let her in when you go to the dr............she can find out after the appointment.even my rehab guy asked why mine was with me????because i didnt know any better.you have to tell her or the dr whats going on but keep it simple.
Each day is not a rite,it's a given. |

RE: What do you think
Mine dont come in the room with me, I allow her to come in after the appointment while Im still there, only to get updated from DR. That way nothing is said without me knowing. Also he dont allow WC-- ncm-- to be in the room until after.

RE: What do you think
Back in my BA days ( before attorney days) I had a nurse case manager that came with me into the exam room.
Can't tell you how many times she got in an argument with the wc doctor, I just sat there and listened. Last time I saw here was when the doctor placed me at MMI amd closed my medical. At this time I was using a scooter to get around, couldn't do the walking required to go to the grocery store. I hired an attorney and haven't seen the case manager since. |

RE: What do you think
I know what you are saying, mine did try to get to my pt and they did push me and ended up doing harm. But I went behind their back and told my injury DR what was going on. He gave me a month off more less to heal again and put me in a new place for pt. Now every thing has been great since. But even a ncm "not mine" told me to be carefull as to what they pull. I am back to work now,14 days and hope I can stay working, I hurt but will try to force myself to complete my days one at a time. For I dont want to loose everything my wife and I have worked for.
