PT Eval on back, Limbo or Bad Boy

RE: PT Eval on back, Limbo or Bad Boy
It just amazes me how there seems to be a chain reaction with injuries.

I started with a left knee injury, one year later I had surgery on the other knee. I now need a knee replacement on the left knee and will need one on the right knee in the future.

Now I have back issues, PT says I have nerve involvement.
I won't mention the problems I am having with my neck or the spasms in my hips.

Last time I saw my medical dr he told me I was damaged goods, not for sure how to take that.

RE: PT Eval on back, Limbo or Bad Boy
This is my second week of physical therapy. PT did something different today, a massage with pressure points.

At the start of therapy I had a migraine. PT was able to get some movement in my neck and the migraine improved.

Never was able to get movement in my low back.

Has anyone had this type of massage and has it helped?

RE: PT Eval on back, Limbo or Bad Boy
I had an appointment at the Spine Institute today.
The dr's nurse made the appointment after she learned of the numbness in my leg.

The dr actually sat down and talked to me, previous he would stand in the door and talk to me.

I have been keeping a log of my symptoms & level of pain.
I gave this to the dr. & told him about the increased trouble I am having with my knee.

The dr said in his words,” There is a definite connection between your back and your knees".

On my way out of the office I requested a copy of my medical records.
We will see if the dr puts what he said in his notes.

I called my attorney and told him what the dr said. My attorney said he will be sending a letter to the dr for requested information and then he will be filing a motion in court for treatment.

If you did not get information on the discogram, try going to all about the back or spine universe and check it out on that site-I do not know how to get the link posted here. Good luck and hoping you get what you need soon.

Thanks Tweety & PM. I was injuried 11/05 amd was told by a non work comp orthopedic dr that my injury was severe and I needed a knee replacement. My knee has not been stable since the accident.

I haven't had a full night's sleep since the accident, I will be ready for surgery when the time comes.
