RE: where is everyone?
Sea sickness is no fun, thats for sure. have seen many that were really sick. The trick is to start taking something the day before going and during the trip. I have no problem with it. But look at it this way at least ya wouldn't gain any weight from stopping smoking. I love to fish, and eat it too.

Life isn't about waiting for the storm to pass.
It's about learning to dance in the rain.

RE: where is everyone?
Hubby and I went deep sea fishing years ago and it was for a half day. Everytime the boat goes on a fishing trip people pitch in money for the " largest fish, highest lb. fish ". It was a slow day and of course hubby and I pitched in for the contest. As soon as the boat took off, hubby turned green...LOL. He was hanging over the side of the boat ( as this happens everytime we go) and I decided " What the heck?". I cast my line out and fished right where he was........! Talk about great chum.....lol. Wouldn't you know it, I caught the largest cod fish and the thing weighed in at 8 lbs. It was the largest fish and heaviest fish on the boat, and I also caught the most fish...LOL I won $30.00.

Hubby was sick the whole time in the cabin while I was out there with his buddies catching all these fish. As soon as we hit shore he heard all his buddies ragging on him about how his wife knows how to fish..LOL. I felt so bad for him that we stopped at the nearest seafood place and bought 8 lbs. of steamers and we all went back to the house and cooked up the cod and steamers..... What a memorable day that was..LOL.

There is not ONE time he did not get sick going out to deep sea fish. We have tried the patch, the pills etc. Same thing happened when we went on our cruise to Alaska and went salmon fishing. Paid $200.00 a piece on our 25th anniversary and sick the whole time. So bad that even when we hit shore he was to sick for the salmon bake that evening.

Luckily I got a refund of $400.00 because of the excursion of the salmon fishing was a joke. Two young kids on a small boat taking us out fishing and I could not even tell you what was on the poles for bait. They did not let us touch the poles the whole trip. When we wrote to Princess cruise they gave us a refund for our terrible day trip salmon fishing.
