RE: Carpal Tunnel/Repetitive Stress Syndrome in TN-Workers Comp Issue
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Hello,
Ok im back with another update!!
SO I went back to the Ortho Dr at Vanderbilt to get the
results of my MRI that I had done on Monday. When the
Dr 1st approached me,He asked what happened to the MRI
on your Elbow as well?? I told him that WComp wouldn't
approve it to be done on the Elbow even though I am having
problems/pain with it.

SO anyway the MRI on my Right Hand show that I have
"Trigger Finger" so the Dr told me I would need a Cortisone
shot!!! And being the wuss that I am I said Ok LOL and after
he numbed itreally well with a spray it wasn't as bad as
I imagined. At any rate, the Dr told me that if the Cortisone
shot doesn't help that I would need to be seen by him again
in 4 weeks to get a 2nd shot then again 4 weeks later to
get a final shot. If none of these shots work then I
will have to have surgery to release the trigger etc.

So he asked me if I had been working and I said yes up until
the 27th of Feb when I got Fired. So he then tells me that he
is releasing me to work with NO restrictions and basically sent me
on my way. I then told him that I know 100% that this was
caused from my job and he then tells me that anyone that uses
there hands on a daily basis at home or at work can get Trigger
Finger so I just shut up. And he was the Dr that I told you had
told me it wasn't wise to File WComp(After the fact) because I
could lose my job.

On the up side,I am intitled to a WComp payment because I have been
on restrictions so my AIG adjuster called me while I was at the Dr to
tell me that she had put a check in the mail. But now that im
released to work again NO more payments.

My luck is really sucking..... I woke up this morning with a paralysis
in my face which im pretty sure is a condition that I have had 3 times
before. Its called BellsPalsey and its like you have had a stroke and
now I have NO job/NO insurance so im screwed and have NO clue what
to do because without meds this can get worse and NOT go away.
Thanks and sorry its soooo long.
