Settlement update
Zilch, nodda, Haven't received any papers from attorney yet it was a week friday, Haven't called him yet will give a few more days and then call if nothing by then. Anyone have any idea how long it will take after I sign settlement papers on how long it will be before I receive my check, or is that something I should ask my attorney?

Maybe some that have settled can answer that question, Just curious.

RE: Settlement update
Hi Tuffy! Here in Pa. after you all sign, you have to go before a Judge and they make sure everyone understands the language of the settlement, and after the Judge signs off, you are to receive your check within 30 days. I hope this helps, and Congratulations again on your settlement!!Wink

RE: Settlement update

Morning Tuffy.....I'm also from PA. When hubby settled the decision was made, a court date was set (about 3-4 weeks later) and he signed all in front of the Judge as limbo desribed to make sure he understood what it all meant. After that his check arrived in 7 days. Hope it all works out the same for you.

RE: Settlement update
Tuffy, you, and the ttorney's agree to settle, then it goes in front of the Commision to be signed off on then they send the check to your Attorney, then you go to the Attorney's Office, and sign that check, then they write you a check, that will be smaller for Attorney fee's will be taken off. Then you bank the check. Sometimes a month or so, sometimes faster.
