RE: weather
OMG! Wish we were there!

We had an early morning ice storm, and everything is covered in a sheet of ice! One cannot even stand up outside! Even our poor dog can't make his way to his favorite "unloading" spot! It is wickedly dangerous on the roads...they are pleading with people to 'stay off the roads'! There are cars in the ditches everywhere, people falling on the ice and the ambulance runs are 5 miles an hour! Our police scanner has been really, really busy! Me? I'm not even getting dressed today...we are holed -up at home where it's safe and sound!
I pray everyone had a safe and Fabulous Christmas, as we did!
HoHoHo! LillyBig Grin

RE: weather
We are having a heat wave her in northern Il, Almost 50 today, had freezing rain last nite, heavy rain and flooding warnings for tomarrow.
I put my tree up the weekend after Thanksgiving and take it down the weekend after New Years. I like to enjoy the season and my tree as long as I can. It is artificial and that makes a difference, If real it would be taken down earlier. It always seems so bare when it is down, like something is missing.

Life isn't about waiting for the storm to pass.
It's about learning to dance in the rain.

RE: weather
It was in the 50's here today. most of the ice is melted and tomorrow is to be almost 60 so maybe the ice will be gone. This was a nice day we went shopping and out to eat for John's Birthday.

May God send his angels to hold you in his arms
