Seret Santa/ Thank You

As we all know how w/c works, don't care about cutting of benefits around christmas or any other time for that matter. It was really tough for me this christmas with the w/c benefits being cut off all at once (as I stated on the injured workers post). I am raising 2 of my grandchildren and didn't know how I was going to buy them gifts this year, but God always has his angels standing by to help. I want to thank everyone who contributed to secret santa to make sure our children would have a merry christmas inspite the current circumstances it was truly a blessing! I wish you all could have seen the smiles on their faces when they opened their gifts. It is people like you who makes life much eaiser... Red you are truly a God sent and he has given you such a special gift and love for people, you put others before yourself, and I know God will reward you greatly for it!!! again I say THANK'S TO ALL OF YOU.

she is special isnt she? Monster and Red have done this for 3 years now...those of us that can send money do so.and other get pure joy from shopping for these kids...Your letter sent chills down my spine as I remember those very lean years when my honey first got hurt we had just adopted 3 little ones and I cried alot but this place was a god send and we were fine .and now altho tight we are Ok.And you will be also....keep the faith and stick around and God willing next year you can send our sweet red a check to help out.....

Hi mzgold...it warms my heart to hear of the smiles on Christmas. Thanks for sharing this with us and thank you for your kind words. Secret Santa is a program that was started by monster and I have had the pleasure to coordinate for the past 2 years. The people on this forum is who have hearts and have put others before themselves. It is me, spending their money to accomplish a goal that they have trustingly put into my hands. It is a true blessing to know that we helped a 12 year old girl and a 9 year old boy to smile on Christmas. Now we move towards preparing the next up coming year of 2009... next year will be kinder than the last, and it will be filled with love for all....
