bad weather

Well I decided to come home to NH this weekend and set things up for xmas after the contractors have finished installing windows etc. Friday night we had a terrible snow storm and I did not mind but the cable went out. I have a generator if the power went out so I did not really care. So much to do here without needing cable.

Sunday am it started snowing early. The blizzard arrived in the early am. I was stuck here all day yesterday. Snow drifts, winds up to 50 miles an hour etc. Now that I do not have trees you can imagine the drifts now. We have about 14 inches of snow but in the drifts higher. Today I am suppose to work. I woke this am and looked out the window and the wind is still blowing about 40 miles an hour. Drifts are terrible. Hubby is out snow blowing around the vehicles after the plow just came. There is no way I am driving 1 1/2 hours to work this morning. I will wrap the rest of the gifts and head back up there this evening. Everyone stay warm and safe. Good ole NE weather has struck us bad.
