Medical malpractice
I called an attorney today. Something I had thought I wouldn't do. But on days when your in extreme pain sometimes you do crazy stuff. We did the little chit chat stuff. Told him a little about what was going on. Then he asked for the name of the doctor that butchered on me. I told him. After about 40 seconds of awkward silence he said he would have to consult with another attorney in his office who was already handling numerous claims against this same surgeon.
Freaking wierd. Cause I let the googler do the work of finding someone to call. Their firm was the 1st one at the top of the list. |

RE: Medical malpractice
I'm not sure anything will come out of it but it made me fill better mentally to have just done that. I've heard some rumors from some of this surgeons former patients that he was being sued and this kind of confirms it. Just glad to find out I'm not crazy for thinking this.

RE: Medical malpractice
Good Luck to you. If in fact this doctor is a menace, he needs to be stopped.
To know you had a part in that, would be uplifting to say the least! Lilly
Injured worker, & tired of it all! I'm too old for games!! A careless word may kindle strife, a cruel word may wreck a life, a timely word may level stress, and a loving word may heal and bless! |

RE: Medical malpractice
If Your Surgeon is not Capable of doing His Duties Correctly and Safely, They do need to be Stopped. You, along with the Others Suing This Person May not Immediately be Helped, but You will be Sparing Others from a lot of Pain and Suffering!! My Very Best on Your Suit, and I Hope You are Successful!!
Failed Back Surgery, Chronic Pain, Totally Disabled. Knowledge is Power, Especially in the World of w/c. Learn as Much as You can about Your States w/c Laws, and don't Fight Battles alone, They Use Attorney's, and so Should You!! |

RE: Medical malpractice
Yes, there was an actionable event. Not just the poor outcome.

RE: Medical malpractice
stiffnecked
Sorry to see you have had problems, and like the others If DR is found to be in any way responsible I hope he is stopped. And you get millions if possible, but stopping him from doing it again to someone else. I wish you luck. |

RE: Medical malpractice
go for it I am so tired of WC forcing on us Docs of questionable abilities.....I wish we could also sue WC for making us go to these butchers
;)Workmans comp is not a road you want to travel alone. You need a good lawyer,a great family and good friends to lean on.If you make it thru without losing everything you have worked for all your life, you have come out ahead of the game.....
