FLORIDA - Time limit?

Five years ago was injured - was seeing doctor at least once a year.
Two years ago, when I phone to make an appt, was told by w/c I was 7 days past my year and they no longer were liable.

Now, 3 years since my injury has bother me, it is acting up. Will my regular medical insureance cover it?

All information is greatly appreciated.
Smile

PS.. Yes, I know I should have phoned before my year was up (since my last visit to the dr, I didn't and need to know what my options are now.

RE: FLORIDA - Time limit?

Your health insurance should cover the condition. You may need to have your adjuste send you something in writing indicating you are no longer treating under workers comp and/or that the Statute of Limitations ran on your claim.
Hope this helps.
