AMEN!

Don't know if this is really true? Wouldn't doubt it.

HOW BIG IS WAL-MART?

This should boggle your mind!!

HOW BIG IS WAL-MART?

1. At Wal-Mart, Americans spend $36,000,000 every hour of every
day.

2. This works out to $20,928 profit every minute!

3. Wal-Mart will sell more from January 1 to St. Patrick's Day
(March 17th)
than Target sells all year.

4. Wal-Mart is bigger than Home Depot + Kroger + Target + Sears +
Costco +
K-Mart combined.

5. Wal-Mart employs 1.6 million people and is the largest private
employer. And most can't speak English
6. Wal-Mart is the largest company in the history of the
World.

7. Wal-Mart now sells more food than Kroger & Safeway combined,
and keep in mind they did this in only 15 years.

8. During this same period, 31 Supermarket chains sought
bankruptcy
(including Winn-Dixie).

9. Wal-Mart now sells more food than any other store in the
world.

10. Wal-Mart has approx 3,900 stores in the USA of which 1,906 are
SuperCenters;
this is 1,000 more than it had 5 years ago.

11. This year, 7.2 billion different purchasing experiences will
occur
at a Wal-Mart store. (Earth's population is approximately 6.5
billion.)

12. 90% of all Americans live within 15 miles of a Wal-Mart

13. Let Wal Mart bail out Wall Street

;)Workmans comp is not a road you want to travel alone. You need a good lawyer,a great family and good friends to lean on.If you make it thru without losing everything you have worked for all your life, you have come out ahead of the game.....Smile

RE: sithie sent me this
I have 3 within 15 Minutes of Me, and I only Shop there when Absolutely Necessary. Many, Many Small Businesses that were Here in My Neighborhood and Close Surrounding Areas were effected so Badly by Walmart that they had to Close. Some of these Businesses were in the Same Family for 50 Years or More. I understand Competition Lowers Prices and is not Illegal, but I feel a Monopoly is. Too Many Stores too Close chokes Out the Small Stores, and Many Families were effected by this in a Negative Way. But that's just My Humble Opinion.Wink

Monster you are so correct. I worked for them for 10 years, I fought WC and Unemployment for them during that 10 years span. Not once did I loose a case for them. So I do know where you are coming from.

RE: sithie sent me this
I also worked for Wal Mart many years ago. Sam Walton was alive and would make a point to visit stores in person and provide employee trainnings.

Back then the employees were treated the right way. After he died I saw a huge change in the way employees were treated. Workers were no longer treated with respect.
