good dr. can u believe it
Just wanted to give an update had c56 fusion 10/14 and it took all the pain away immediately. I am 6 weeks out from surgery and have been going to p/t 3 times a week. I have found a new problem though....I am right handed and having trouble raising right arm up and gripping things. Just saw the specialist yesterday and advised him and he said to continue therapy but noted it and told nurse case manager. He said that if when i come back to him 1/5 and arm is still bothering me that he will then send me to a specialist. He is the specialist that did my surgery and not the primary w/c dr. do they normally do that or by some grace of god I got a dr. that actually cares? Also specialist still states still have to switch line of work. No jackhammering, no pothole patching, no driving of dumptrucks. Thank god I have office skills in my background.

RE: good dr. can u believe it
Hi hardworker!
What fabulous news! I'm very glad you have been relieved of your pain. You are one of the lucky ones! Count your blessings sir! I also lucked out with a great doctor (my 2nd one). First one was a hack, and left me with an unrepairable dominant arm from a botched shoulder surgery. It's such a relief to find a good doc who DOES CARE in wc world! Take care & good luck with the arm problem. Lilly
Injured worker, & tired of it all! I'm too old for games!! A careless word may kindle strife, a cruel word may wreck a life, a timely word may level stress, and a loving word may heal and bless! |
