Cancer Diagnosis
I went to the determologist today to check a couple of "spots" on my nose.

I have basil cell skin cancer with a tumor on the left side of the nose.

The doctor is sending me to a specialist in Kansas CIty and I will be in the hospital a couple of days for surgery and reconstructive surgery.

The doctor did a biopsy today on both spots and treated the smaller spot in his office.

He said I have had this for about 5 years, I didn't have a clue. I did tell the doctor in my job I would spend 3 hours a day on the playground.

January or February I will have surgery and treatment, I also have court in January.

I had a pet scan in 07 for a tumor in the bone marrow which is benign and the scan at that time showed me to be cancer free.

At this time I am trying to decide if I should tell my attorney about this, and if so what I should tell him.

always tell your Lawyer everything let him figure out weather or not its important to your case
........I love cats, I just cant eat a whole one by myself......

Bummer I would tell your attorney just because. Even though it has nothing to do with your case. What kind of treatment will you have? How exptensive is this? Can you explain more? I am praying. Skin cancer gets overlooked alot. With all the Dr.s you see , you would think one of them might have noticed at some point. I had something on my ear years ago and my podiatrist noticed and didn't like the way it looked. Most Dr.s know what they're looking at. God bless and keep you safe. My prayers are with you.

The type of cancer I have is basal cell.

I was told today I will have surgery to remove the tumor in the morning and later in the day I was have reconstructive surgery. Why it won't be done at the some time I don't know.

The doctor I saw says he is not messing with the doctors in Wichita, that I need the attention of the doctors in Kansas City.

I do not have the information yet on treatment until the biopsy results are in.
My prayers are with you. Backache
Bummer, about 5 years ago my brother had skin cancer on his nose and they removed it, he has a small scar on the side of his nose now but looks fine.he is doing great.Good luck and don't worry, it will be fine once it is taken care of.Just what you needed to know though after all you have been going thru right?Take Care (Jenn) Halftrak
no matter where you're at there you are
sorry to hear of your troubles sending prayers up for you
worry changes nothing prayer changes every thing
I hope and pray everything goes well with your biopsy. I think you should inform your attorney about this as well.
