RE: Secret Santa...its time
Hi all... knowing that some money was coming I spent some more on the family with 7 children. They each only got one thing for Christmas and through Disney I was able to give them two things each for very little. I am still waiting to hear from the other family that I told you about, and am sending a $100.00 to the family who needs a meal. Consequently, I have spent another 97.80 from Disney, 56.91 from walmart, and $100.00 through palpay. This means that I have over spent from what I have about $390.00. I know it is coming, however, always know that I am telling you where the money is going but if I over spend I don't expect any of you to cover it. It is my responsibility and my heart that gets in the way sometimes. When you do, I appreciate it, but don't expect it. You are all the best of the best of people. I even had a women register because she was watching this and wanted to contribute to the fund. I believe we make a great example of charity during Christmas. These kids will all have a great Christmas because of all of us. WE have bought for 13 kids and 6 families at this point..a total of $845.00 if I have added this all correctly. It is sort of hard to keep track of it all and then it all comes out of my checking account or credit cards and I have not deposited all the money. Thanks so much everyone. This is a blessing to do and I would recommend that everyone should do it at least once..so that they get all the warm felt thank yous, from the kids parents, grandparents and so forth. I know that my Christmas is going to be so much more because of all the kids that will have smiling faces on Christmas eve or morn... it is a priviledge to know all of you. Love you Red

Also I have

Hi all...just an update....after I deposit the $475.00 that I have on my desk I have one more order to make and I will do it tomorrow. I will be able to give a total in and out most likely at the end of the week. I am still expecting some in the mail which amounts to about $130.00. Thanks to all the contributors and may your christmas wishes all come true...love you all Red

RE: Secret Santa...its time
Hi all... just an update...I deposited the $475.00 that I had setting on my desk from all of you. With that I have deposited a total of 675.00 with out my donation. I have spent a total of $836.51 which leaves a minus amount of 161.51. I have three checks that I am expecting today and I still need to add in my donation. Another issue that has arisen is a family member of a forum member injuried worker has contacted me about her two children ages 1 (boy) and 3 (girl). They are living with their grandmother due to tragic events. I have setting in a cart in the amount of about $145.00 for these two children. I do not feel that I should spend secret santa donations meant for our IW children since these two children do not meet that criteria, however, my heart says that I want to do something for them. One of our members has volunteered to send them a gift card to buy food and I am sending toys and clothes for the children. Here is my plan. When the $170.00 get here, I will be plus about $9.00 without my donation. I would like to use my donation to buy the stuff in the cart for these two chldren who will not have a Christmas without us. THe grandmother is disabled and without income so this is the only way these little children will have a christmas. Is it ok, if I use my donation to buy for these children, if not I understand and I will sent a check back to donators of what is over the amount spent after I put in my orignal planned donation...I am one of the numbers. Just let me know...I need to do this soon. Love Red

Red

If the money is there, and a child is in need, then go for it.

Red, You are a very generous person.
