Festival of Trees
Gail, my neighbor and myself went to what we call the Festival of Trees, yesterday. It is sponsored by our local Hospital every year at this time. A lot of fun, Trees, large and small, wreaths. and all sponsored by local businesses. You can bid on the trees etc all decorated and there are raffles, Santa is there for the kids, and local talent singing etc. You can also have lunch and purchase holiday items from there gift shop. All procedes go to help the Hospital, This year to help supply the new GI unit .

They also have every year in front of the Hospital what they call the Love Light Trees. for 5 dollars a white lite is placed on one of the Trees in front of the Hospital in Loving memory of someone or a red or green lite to honor someone.

It was spitting snow, What a wonderfull way to start the Holidays.

Life isn't about waiting for the storm to pass.
It's about learning to dance in the rain.

RE: Festival of Trees
Tuffy.....this sounds like such a good idea. I love the thoughts of putting the lights on the trees and that color is based on a criteria. Tell Gail I said hi and I hope you all had a great time. Love Red

Be who you are and say what you feel, because those who mind don’t matter and those who matter don’t mind.
