In your time on the forum you have known of many posters who have found out, through the wisdom of the group, that much of their distress could have been avoided had they sought counsel early on and kept counsel informed. How many times does one read "call an attorney " on these forums ?

It is the group wisdom and in that sharing that offers so much help and comfort to those who seek out sites like this. Peer to peer bonding is strong therapy as acknowledged by posters every day. The advice and solace given is invaluable but, and here's is where I'll put my foot in my mouth again, important legal matters such as causality etc. are of such fundamental importance that advice from anyone other than atty with specific state knowledge just has to be taken for what it is. My statement was not a dig at anyone, just common sense.
