Tpm Update

RE: Tpm Update
Thanks so much Lilly
Yesterday started out all so good. I didn't take any medication in the morning, Went to Costco with my wife and sweet little foster baby. But by the afternoon my pain came back with a vengeance. It was one of the worst pains I've had in quite a while.
I can't get my surgery fast enough knowing everything else I have tried failed or even worsened my pain.
In the past the IC has always been good with me so I am hoping nothing changes now. I'll keep you posted

RE: Tpm Update
Hello all
I just received my surgery authorization yesterday Smile. Spoke with the doctors office today and scheduled my operation for March 9th. Sad. Could have been a couple of weeks earlier had I wanted to go to a different hospital. I figure I like the hospital I have chosen plus they already have my information since I had my first surgery there.
I'll keep you posted

RE: Tpm Update
Hello everyone
Just a quick update. I go for my pre-op this coming Wednesday with my surgery following on March 9th. Looking forward to it (hoping it relieves my pain) but also losing confidence that it will help much if any. Lately I have been getting numb arms and accompanying pain at times, mostly while sleeping. Neck pain always present into shoulders and upper back.
As far as I know surgery will be for one additional disc above my previous surgery back in March of '07. In first surgery I had C5-7 ACDF and this time it will be C4-5 with a slight possibility of C3-5. I do not want to come back in a year or 2 for another surgery so I hope to persuade the surgeon the morning of.
I'll keep you posted
