Question about nerve pain?

RE: Question about nerve pain?
Bummer,
I personally wear Skechers Sport shoes. I have been wearing them for years, even before being hurt. They have a good support system and are well made. I also like the fact that they last me a long time. I have both black and white. They now have all types including sandals. My daughter wears the crocs that Limbo mentioned, because when she is at work she is on her feet for long periods of time. My Dr. had ordered me a lift to wear in one of my shoes for awhile when my SI joint was out of position and causing one leg to be shorter and caused increased nerve pain. I was able to remove the lift when they got the SI joint back in position. I also agree about using the Cymbalta for the nerve pain, I use it and when my left leg and foot gives me too much trouble I make sure that I sit with them elevated. I hope you find what works for you.
Love
Vickie

Bummer- I wear the diabetic socks that walmart has, also take effexor for the pain. My pain starts in my heal and at time goes across the the top of my foot.

May God send his angels to hold you in his arms

RE: Question about nerve pain?
I have tried just about every brand shoe there is , Niki, Reeboks, Nurse mates, New balance, then bought a pair of SAS ( $125.00) expensive, but no more pain and hurting, And they last for months, where New Balance lasted only 4 or 5 months, Reebocks were my second choice, and after years of being on my feet and legs, was really sorry I had not found these shoes years ago. SAS has a website.

Good luck finding a shoe that works for you.

BK, I have to go uptown today and there's a Z-coil store. I'll swing in there and pick up some pamphlets and send them to you. Just PM me your addy. Maybe they'll even have a pamphlet on how to submit it to your insurance. Will let you know when I get back home.

RE: Question about nerve pain?
BK, I sent you a PM. After visiting with the lady about the shoes and boots I am pretty impressed with them. They can even adjust the springs and give three-fourths of an inch lift on the shoe if one leg is shorter than the other....which would be awesome for my friend who had hip replacement and limps becuz of that leg being longer now which is causing her alot of back pain and also affecting her other hip. I keep telling the hubby that I don't want or need anything for Christmas but I think I found something. And they have free lifetime adjustments and lifetime warranty on the springs and the heal pads. You can check them out at http://www.zcoil.com I'm not trying to promote anything...just hoping for something that can give all of us some relief. Love to all, snowbear

RE: Question about nerve pain?
Here's a really good ad on Good Morning America about Z-Coil Shoes. You will have to see a "short" advertisement about something else before the GMA video comes on. It's worth watching.

Zappos.com is where I buy all my shoes. They carry new balance. On the search, enter "new balance" and from their you can choose gender, size, price, etc. Once the selection comes up, I always sort by lowest price and the sale shoes will show first. The good thing is zappos ships free and usually there is no sales tax, depending on where you live. Returns are easy. They pay shipping both ways.

Let Go, and Let God......
