Not at MMI
Last month the insurance company sent me to my former wc treating doctor for an evaluation of my lower back and knees.

My attorney told me the appointment was the insurance co's goal to place me at MMI and stop the TTD checks.

At the appointment the doctor was not happy with my knee in which I had the replacement. My sister was with me in the exam room and she thought the doctor said I was not at MMI.

I received my TTD check in the mail today dated for the week after the doctor's appointment. My attorney has not received the doctor's report yet on the evaluation; don't expect it for a few more weeks.

Just thought I would update.

RE: Not at MMI
It took My IME Report Approx. 4 or 5 Weeks before I got a Copy. It was Actually filled with approx. 7 Outright Lies that I have Proof of, so I Marked the Areas for My Attorney for when We Depose Him in the Future! I Won in April, and the IME Dr. and His Report was found Not Credible, and Myself and My Dr. were Found Credible. So they Sent Me to this New Dr., and My Attorney Said He is known amongst the Judges as a Bought and Paid for by the i/c Dr., and they were Hoping for a Higher Assessment than the First IME Dr., so they Could Start the Process of trying to Take Away My Benefits Again! The Report Said that they Agree with the First IME Dr., and Added No More, so it Back Fired in their Faces!! The First Dr. was Found Not-Credible, so they are Back at Square One!!!Smile

RE: Not at MMI
Thank you for responding Sweet, Red, and Still In Limbo

The wc doctor that did the IME is very much in the pocket of the the insurance company, I am suprised my benefits were not stopped immediately!

My attorney tells me the insurance company is sorting thru my medical records trying to find reason to deny my back & carpal tunnel.

Once the insurance company saw the doctor's medical record about the auto accident, that was like waving a red flag at a charging bull. I did not tell the insurance company about the neck injury from the auto accident as it has nothing to do with wc.

Right now it is a wait and see.

My attorney is on the ball, he has already rescheduled the hearing to include the back and carpal tunnel.
