RE: Vickies Trip to California
Tuffy...please send her my best. I haven't called her because I never know when she's driving or sleeping. Send her hugs for me.

Update on Vickie, She has reached Flagstaf Az, spending the nite, is feeling better but was hungry so I will be calling her back later this evening.
Red she said to tell you she will be calling you later ....... She ran into bad weather windy, blowing, snow and icy conditions thru New Mexico but has cleared now.

RE: Vickies Trip to California
Hi all...just finished talking to Vickie. She is in Flagstaff as Tuffy said. Flagstaff is 1 mile high up a moutain and it snows up there often. She said she ran into some snow yesterday in New Mexico but not in AZ. She has a sore throat and I believe this trip is increasing her pain levels. She can't take her medications for pain and drive so she is just coping with it...but is unable to drive too many miles each day. Jayne, I would expect that she will take possibly 3 days to get to where she is going. She could make it in 2 days easy...this is a one day driving experience for Del but Vickie truly is not feeling very well. Lets keep her in our prayers. Love Red

Be who you are and say what you feel, because those who mind don’t matter and those who matter don’t mind.

RE: Vickies Trip to California
As of last nite Vickie is still planning on going to Vegas to spend a few days. She has been stoping at roadside attractions and had bought herself a few things. some bookends for her new home and some jewelry for herself. She was hitting the shower, and going to relax. Said to say hello to everyone, and she sure wishes she had a laptop........ as she misses the forum family. Vickie said this is just not a moving trip for her but a vacation also as it has been awhile sinse she has traveled, and she is enjoying seeing the sites.......... She has been calling me every evening when she stops. There are days when she is tired and days when she is ok, just depends how many miles she drives and the weather. Her van is harder to handle when it is windy or blowing and icy. She did stop and pick up chains for her tires for when she gets to the mountain passes closer to her destination. Said she would call me tonight when she stops....Vickie said her throat is feeling better and she is gargling , etc. she also thinks she was bitten by SOMETHING on the calf of her leg, it was swollen red and about nickle size but is looking better now. Will keep ya all up to date as her trip continues..........
