adding to my claim
Will be calling my atty. tomorrow to get more info about how we're to do this but thought that alot of you have already been through the procedure that you could maybe provide me with some insight. My claim for bilateral carpal tunnel syndrome has been once again accepted by the IC...after a 2nd hearing and I'm hoping that my employer just accepts it and doesn't try to appeal it again. Have spoken to my atty. about my dr. wanting to send me back to work with no restrictions but am continuing to have problems with forearms and elbows. My physical therapist has me doing exercises for after the surgery of carpal tunnel on left and right wrists/hands which in turn is aggravating the forearms and elbows of both. My dr. diagnosed the left elbow at last visit as having epicondylitis....haven't spoken to him yet about the right one but physical therapy believes it to be the same as the left. Was told by atty. to not submit return to work slip yet....that to send me back to work so that I will have to fill out another claim is incorrect on the dr.'s part. Attorney says that we can file a motion to get my other "injuries" included in my claim. Does all of this sound about right? Will I have to go to hearings again to get the other "injuries" accepted or is that up to the employer?

Life is what happens to you while you're busy making other plans.

RE: adding to my claim
hearings are used to resolve disputes.
If the carrier objects to the addition then either party can go to the comp court for a decision. I suspect that if they object your atty will file to have the issue decided at a court hearing.
so whether you will or won't have a hearing may be your choice.
