" WI " Hi every one this question might be off the wall but here it goes. I was hospitolized for 8 weeks 200 miles away from home. My wife and son stayed in motel for that period. Has anyone been reimburst or know if WC reimburst for this? Any help would be awsome.

they didnt my husband when I had surgery......but mine was for one night......I simply dont know about long term

I'm not Sure of Your States Laws, but Maybe 1171 or Bad Boy or One of the Others who can find these Answers pretty Quickly will be Answering You Soon! I Hope You can get Reimbursed, I'm Sure that wasn't Cheap!!Wink

Thanks, and yes alot of money with meals and staying. At the end we had to send my boy home with family. And the hospitol alowed my wife to eat and sleep in my room because I had a room by myself.

Unless it was a medical necessity that these family members accompanied you and you have your physician attest to that the employer would not pay for non-injured, non employees to travel.
