Soonermom53- I am Tinkerbell an I live in Il, and I am the Mother to 9 children 3 natural and 6 step-children with my oldest being 37 and the youngest 25. my girls all work in the medical field and my oldest son works in construction, middle son in retail and the youngest is a painter for catapiller. I became a injuried worker in 10/03 and have been dealing with problem after problem ever since. Started with a torn rotor cuff, dislocation, and cracked collar bone. then because of the surgery and to much pressure on the elbow, developed brachial plexopathy with TOS both neruo and vascular, RSD and carparpal tunnel and cubatal tunnel , bleading ulcers and now end stage renal dease due to all the medications. and now have to go to dialysis three times a week. Workmans comp has not been good that is for sure. I will be glad to get it behind me or at least get my benefits restarted as I have not recieved a w/c check in 2 1/2 years. But SSDI benefits will start the first of Nov.

Seems that you and I are almost neighbors. I am just a short drive south of you in Wichita Falls, TX. I often go through Lawton on my way to OK City to pick up my boyfriends daughter.

I am originally from Colorado, but have lived all over the states other than the North East. Youngest of 9, I am the baby at 45. Mother to 4 kids.. Devon, 25, in Detroit working for TSA at the airport and father to 3 of my 4 grandbabies. Kia and Kassie are 3 yr old twins and Raven is their 2 yr old sister. Next is Angie, 24, who is in Ca. and mother to my 8 yr old gandson, Ethan. Next is daughter Brianne,22, who is Air National Guard Reserve in Battle Creek, MI and also works at Ritz camera store and my youngest, Nathan, 14,resides in Brigdeman, MI with my first ex.

I am ex-Navy, and have always worked in some kind of customer service or meidcal position from EMT to emergency admissions. I am on my 2nd WC case, the 1st being in '03 while I lived in Vegas. This second one happened in Feb 08 and has been denied. I am currently battling to get it acceptedet, as well as getting my STD that was denied as I was in the midst of a WC case. I was terminated from my job with AVIS/Budget group on the 4th of this month and haven't had a check since the end of August. I loose my personal insurance the 30th and am also suffering from RSD that I acquired from tarsal tunnel surgery in my right ankle last October, which has spread to both legs and my right arm now. I doubt that I will ever go back to work and will end up on SSD/SSI at the end of my case if we can ever get through the WC courts here in TX.

Hope you are enjoying this weather we are having. Although it got cold rapidly this year.. I love being able to sit outside in the sunshine of an afternoon. I wish that I wasn't injured, as I would love to be able to do all the yard work around here, instead of having to have it hired out. Maybe by spring time I will be in position to be able to put in my garden.
