I agree with Obliv. You ALWAYS fill out a accident report when injured. The employer knew this would be a WC injury and I feel it was totally wrong to have him/her tell YOU to pay for it.
I would definitly report this to the dept. of labor. You should have a claim number and adjuster right now. Even if it is 100.00, you should have NEVER been told to pay. Make sure you get all the WC information from this employer. Hopefully they do have WC insurance as it sounds like they do not. carpal tunnel recurrence/ neuropathy / RSD. 1/29/07 injury date.
