EXT. leave approved under ADA!
Hello all, just wanted to give an update, real quick....I had asked for extended leave as an accommodation under the ADA (Americans with Disabilities ACT) since I did not have the ability to return on light duty due to the nature of my injuries. My fmla ran out last friday and I was a mess all week wondering what to do next. I just got the certified letter today that I am o.k. until Nov. 3rd!! I am very fortunate and had to share some good news. I work for a small company and I am so thankful to them.....and all of you for sharing and keeping me going during this terrible time. I was in a hit and run in July. thanks again! cookie
