RE: tonights presidential debate
(Lordy, lordy, lordy...whether I'm for McCain or Obama, I myself try to refrain from such asinine observations as noted in paragraphs 1., 3. and 7. How does it serve you or anyone?)
I don't see anything I wrote as an asinine observations. For one, if I'm watching a Debate, to help me, you or anyone else obtain answer to our own questions, yet don't here the answer to such questions, then and only then all we do have is observations. Second, when a person continues to address the public, after each question coming on to us with the first words out of their mouth being My Friend, makes me wonder. If it doesn't make anyone else wonder that is fine with me. But surely makes me wonder as to what is the point of each so called response to a question, to be outlined first with the words MY FRIEND. It has no bearing to the question asked of them. Third, US history has alot to do with what happens today. It allows us the right to look back in time, see what was done in the past to recitfy a situation, see if it worked, or see if it didn't work. Not to say it still can't work in today's time though. Sounds just as confusing as watching the debate doesn't it. History is a great tool. To leave Iraq or any other country there, only in my opinion, doesn't need to be said, we can't and shouldn't leave only unless we or McCain can say we leave with Victory. Either way, we are not leaving till I'm sure the purpose of being there has been solved. I myself wouldn't want it any other way neither. But, now I have to say this, as also History has proven this, that Terrorism will not be solved by any means. It will be slowed down, but it will never be exhausted. Terroist move around, all over the world, there are so many forms and groups of terrorism, it can never be exhausted. The attempt is to slow it down, calm it down, and yes we will see all Goverments work with them, in a form of treaty or something on that format. But never exhausted from the Earth. If one isn't smart enough to know this, smart enough to understand how countries work with and handle terroist, and smart enough that one doesn't need to look at the history of what has been done in the past about it, then that is asinine. History will prove, that terroism has never been stoped, but slowed down, and calmed down. They have never removed them from living on this Earth as we know it today. And all honesty, the Saudia's had made the statement before in the past to the United States, that if we pull out, they will pull in and take over because they have their people living their. (9/11 wasn't the first attempt on the World Trade Center in New York, in 1993 it was also attempted.) But is that history asinine? Now here is some truth, or asinine observations; (Terrorism is difficult for governments to control or prevent, especially when some of its practitioners are willing to risk their lives or (in some cases) even to embrace certain death. Terrorism can be fought and minimized. When the population among whom the terrorists reside can be isolated from the target population, terrorism can be greatly reduced, if not marginalized. A few governments such as Iraq (before the overthrow of Saddam Hussein, Syria, Pakistan, Libya, the United States, Yemen and the countries that supported the Taliban regime in Afghanistan have been accused of promoting or protecting certain terrorist groups.) As we see, never a Victory against Terrorism.... Did Mccain ever read that, hummmmm. Maybe he did, when he pop his bubble when he was a POW, and all his friends, not MY FRIENDS then called him a trader... What makes anyone think, he wouldn't do it again and again and again to save his one soul not your's not mine, but maybe His MY FRIENDS if he has any... Yeah, it's an asinine observations isn't it ????? Now if that doesn't scare me, or anyone else, then somethings wrong. It scares the hell out of me, and it should. But, it is the truth. It's not an asinine observations. And it serves me well, as it's pure knowledge. Did anyone know, the United States was look at as causing an act of terrorism? (The USA's bombing of Tokyo is estimated to have killed 83,000 civilians. The atomic bomb attacks on Hiroshima (August 6, 1945) and Nagasaki (August 9, 1945) are estimated to have killed about 70,000 and 39,000 civilians respectively; these numbers do not include longer-terms deaths from radiation poisoning. It has been argued that these acts qualify as state terrorism as they specifically targeted civilian rather than military targets.) Asinine observations? Just history severing us is all it is. But, history shows, and proves terrorism won't be ended, won't be stoped....Japan surrendered, they paid for the Attack on pearl Harbor, and the War is over. Thank God for that... And maybe, just maybe Sheikh Usamah bin Muhammad bin Awad bin Ladin (born July , 1957), commonly known as Osama bin Laden, is dead, for he hasn't been seen or heard from for years now..... And the fact is, the Bailout is socialized government, so anyone moving Russia, please send pictures.....There are no Investment Banks left now that the Goverment didn't buy up, or Bailout, with the Tax payers money. Not to mention, it only took 6 days since then to watch 7.5 Trillion Dollars go up in smoke, never ever to be recovered. The fact is, 7.5 Trillion dollars is everything we Americans Bought, Sold, and Made here in the USA for one full year, has just simply disapeared, everything, just all gone, that fast....If anyone isn't scared, then something is wrong. But, then again it's my Asinine Observation only, all mine.... Reply's are intended solely for informational purposes. tweety00 Wrote:I have read both canadates web sites on what their plans are ... But cant find anything about pro life or against .. Tweety, I don't see either trying to change the issue of Rowe V. Wade. The supreme court has ruled on that issue. Even if it was a con to begin with. The Supeme Court has ruled that a women may have an abortion in the first trimester (90 days). It is left to the states to decide on a regulated abortion during the second trimester (91 to 120 days). After that, the only way an abortion can take place is if the womens health is in danger. As far as the presidential debate goes, I have left the issue alone. I am still undecided. I was leaning heavily towards John McCain, but I am not sure now. I have issues with what is campaing personel have been doing, and I just don't like the idea of Sarah becoming the VP. Don't get me wrong, I have no problem at all with a women becoming president. I am just not impressed with her at all. I am waiting for the next debate and hopefully it will be a REAL debate. 8-05, Micro laminectomy/disectomy. 10-05 lumbar fusion L5-S1. 2-07 exploritory surgery. 12-07 medical implant, Spinal Cord Stimulator. now receiving SSDI. RE: tonights presidential debate
I don't know if anyone else thought this, but I found McCains facial expressions rather irritating last night. He seemed to smirk and roll his eyes throughout the debate even when Obama was making a serious statement or agreeing with something, McCain, himself had said. His behavior seemed inappropriate to me under the circumstances.
GOD BLESS OUR COUNTRY AND OUR PRESIDENT! |

RE: tonights presidential debate
backache..I did notice it...I also noticed Obama looked like he was above it all...but I do believe he was concentrating. Also I believe the attacks by McCain was prompted by the news media...becasue last week the news media were talking about McCain needs to come out with that fighter pilot character..not in those words but the meaning is the same. BTW...I am an undecided....love Red
