As they say FROM YOUR MOUTH TO GOD'S EAR.......We just got back from the Dr's and he had the results of the tests. Dave does have a blood disorder, but it is in the very beginning stages. He doesn't even treat this disorder until it gets to stage 4 or 5 and he said that would take about 15 to 20 years for it to reach that point. There is NO cancer or life threatening diagnosis. He is concerned that Dave's spleen is enlarged, but he is going to run ferritin tests and if these stay high he can treat it easily with meds. Thanks to all of you for your prayers. Sorry this is so Late My Dear, but My Prayers are Surely going Up for Dave!! He's a Strong Man, and I Wish for the Best, but I Truly Believe He could Handle it Either Way!! Please Let Us Know when You Can!!

;)Workmans comp is not a road you want to travel alone.You need a good lawyer,a great family and good friends to lean on.If you make it thru without losing everything you have worked for all your life,you have come out ahead of the game.....

I too did'nt see this till you had already posted the results. Just so that you know, you and Dave are still on my prayer list and will remain as long as needed. I'm glad that you guys recieved promising results and No Cancer. Tell him that I'm happy for you both. Love Vickie |

I just read this thread, God works in mysterious ways, and his will be done, It just proves there is power in prayer...... Dave and you will be in my thoughts and prayers, You are both such a wonderfull couple, and yes he is a very special guy, and I am so proud that I got to meet you both.......

Dave was so relieved that as soon as he got home he went up hunting. With his new bow which we could have bought meat for an entire year for what he paid for it. The pic I sent out last week has to be the grandson of the one we saw Friday. He is a mommoth 10 or maybe 12 point. I swear he is as big as an Ohio buck. Now that he doesn't have to worry about his health I have a feeling I won't be seeing much of the Daver and he will be doing what he loves for many more years. Thanks for all of your prayers and mine will still be being sent up for all of you.

Backache...this is wonderful news.... I just read this too Del. He has been gloomy since I explained this to him this morning...now he is smiling again.... prayers do miracles.... I will tell my mom so she can share with the church people on Wednesday night. Thanks..I am so relieved. Love Red
