Please be careful with the Ambien CR. DH finds it does help him sleep, and he has no problem with it. I, on the other hand, can't take it. I am one of those people that it triggers 'sleep action' in (like sleep-walking, but not limited to walking per se). I actually get up and do things- "lights are on but nobody is home". This is listed as a possible side effect. Hope it works as well for you as it does DH.

DH had posterior spinal decompresion, Bi-Lateral laminectomy L3-S1, Excision of L4-5 on L/side. 2/07
